Tusitukirewamu Bwaise tailoring graduates are strong, capable, and proud women

News & Events

Child Mothers who enrolled in Tusitukirewamu Bwaise’s fourth Tailoring Skills development course in 2024 have recently graduated, demonstrating the program’s effectiveness.

To empower girls and provide for their families, the Programme offers tailoring instruction in a variety of fashion designs. The goal is to decrease the number of girls forced into early marriage, unintended pregnancies, and sexual abuse.

In addition to these fundamental skills, the girls learn about business management, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategic planning.

The ceremony, presided over by Honerable Dr Roy Sembooga, conveyed to the Beneficiaries the importance of consistently valuing their skills for self-sufficiency and business ownership.

The Tusitukirewamu Group primarily assists them in acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge, as well as the financial resources, to become self-sufficient and capable of making business decisions.
